Bespoke programmes that attract, recruit and
up-skill high calibre female employees into senior level technical
and non-technical roles.
Capability Jane has developed two programmes
designed to support organisations looking to attract more women
across the IT sector. Capability Jane has experience of developing
programmes designed to attract high calibre women and recruit
them into leading roles within areas of organisations traditionally
under-represented by women.
Women into IT: Attracting, recruiting
and up-skilling women into non-technical roles
This programme focuses on attracting a pipeline
of potential recruits for non-technical business areas. Capability
Jane can run the entire programme or just bespoke components including:
- Business case development
Working with the key areas of the business to develop the case
for change
- Programme development
Developing the overall programme design including format, timescales,
key milestones, training and stakeholder requirements, recruitment
process, key inputs and defined outputs.
- Job design
Developing a toolkit to design flexibility into each
role and assessing the impact of this on the team, the manager,
clients and key stakeholders
- Induction and Training programme development
Designing the training and induction requirements for the recruitment
programme
- Candidate Attraction
Devising an attraction programme to reach out to professional
women in the required geographical area and presenting a shortlist
of appropriately qualified individuals
- Assessment, Recruitment and Induction
Developing and facilitating the candidate assessment
process (usually a one day assessment). Once candidates have
been recruited onto the programme, Capability Jane can provide
a Project Manager to manage the Induction and Training process.
Women into IT: Training Programmes for
Technical Roles
70% of women in technology do not return to
their previous positions after a break for maternity primarily
due to the inability to find the right work-life balance. We know
that 70 of these women are keen to return to a role that allows
then some flexibility with their family commitments. However,
after a period out of the workplace, many women lack updated technology
skills required to return to a technical position.
Our Women into IT programme will enable you
to:
- Up-skill professional women returners with the technical ability
your organisation needs to recruit
- Position your organisation as progressive within the women
returners space
- Build a pipeline of potential female technical employees
- Build goodwill and profile amongst an extremely well networked
group of individuals that are otherwise difficult to reach
- Pro-actively support more technical women to re-enter the
workforce
